Tribal Data Drop-In

SEPTEMBER DATA DROP-IN HOSTS

Angie Reed, Penobscot Indian Nation: Follow-up Q&A from R Training

During these monthly Drop-In Sessions, Tribal participants can get their data management questions answered in an informal setting. This TXG-hosted activity is committed to building tribal capacity, focusing on strategies that enhance the skills, resources, and connections tribes need to develop and sustain robust data and information-sharing capabilities.

The intent of these interactive sessions is to build a community of practice through sharing mutual experiences and knowledge, and you are the most important part!

These sessions are intended for Tribal professionals managing, assessing, and reporting data for environmental monitoring projects, such as air quality, water quality, radon, reclaimed land, contaminated sites, habitat, and wildlife management, etc. and those working with information technology solutions to support their environmental program goals.  All sessions will feature guest presentations, Q&A with attendees, interactive discussions, activities, and access to peer professionals and relevant resources for tribes.

Participants are welcome to bring example data or data products for sharing during live sessions–let us know how we can save you time and frustration. These sessions will not be recorded, and no data or information will be shared publicly. As time allows, live demonstrations of tools for working with data may be conducted based on attendee input.

Please contact txg@tribalexchangenetwork.org if you have any questions.
